District Projects
Rotary District 3220 undertakes large-scale humanitarian and environmental initiatives across Sri Lanka and the Maldives. The Rotary Club of Mount Lavinia proudly supports and participates in selected district projects.
â¤ï¸ Rotary for Little Hearts
The Rotary for Little Hearts Project is a flagship humanitarian initiative of Rotary District 3220 Sri Lanka & Maldives. The project raises funds to provide life-saving cardiac surgeries, intensive care support, and advanced medical equipment for children with congenital heart diseases treated at Lady Ridgeway Hospital (LRH), Colombo.
Through the collective efforts of Rotary clubs, donors, medical professionals, and community partners, this initiative gives underprivileged children the opportunity to receive life-saving treatment and a healthier future.
One Million Tree Project
Completed in 2024
The One Million Tree Project is a Rotary District 3220 environmental initiative aimed at planting one million trees across Sri Lanka and the Maldives. The project promotes environmental conservation, biodiversity, climate resilience, and sustainable development for future generations.
